Pokémon Bonfire Stories is about a group of friends having a night out and trying to spook each other with some creepy storytelling. It doesn't matter much what order you play the stories in, as nothing carries over between them except TMs. If you're going for completion based on collecting all the TMs, there is a text file included to tell you which ones are in each story; it doesn't tell you where to find them though! One last note: you can only play each story once. You'll have to start a new game if you want to go back or play in a different order.

No one knows how life on Vesita would have looked like if the shadow of chaos never striped the island. But it landed on here. Errupting into chaos, life on Vesita would never be the same again. Pokémon turn against human while a new ice age emerged killing everything coming its way.
Hope is near, as two more shadows appear over the night sky of the fresh born chaos. Sent by the guardian of equality and balance they were able to defeat the chaos in a three year long war resulting into many innocent deaths. Dust has settled over Vesita and the story of the so called 'Savior-Pokémon' lives on to this day inspiring a whole new generation of people.

It's been years since that horrible day for Cleveland, and now he lives a relaxing, debt-full life. Your parents are gone, so your stuck with the gramps. 'Ol Cleveland has been thinking though, and hatches a plan to retrieve what was once his, along with the discovery of the remaining artifacts.

Whether by luck or by fate, you've encountered a mythical Pokemon and formed a psychic bond. Now you're on a journey with your Pokemon to find inspiration together and discover Meloetta's true potential.
Features:
- You can completely ignore the story and what characters tell you to do
- Wild Pokemon and trainers will scale with your party, so do things in any order you want
- The region map isn't filled out, at least not with route markers. If a character mentions a certain area or asks you to travel somewhere, they'll try to mark the path for you.
- Gyms have no strict order or type, so challenge them in any order! Or not at all! They'll also rematch with different teams.
- Following Pokemon! The first Pokemon in your party can be toggled as a following partner, and they'll unique reactions or pick up items based on your surroundings.
- Catching Mechanics Earn exp for catching Pokemon, and have the option of switching them into the party immediately.
- Unreal Time Some Pokemon might only appear at night or might appear more often in the day, but time moves fast so you don't worry about resetting your system clock.
